How Are We Doing For Equipment?

I'm not sure how the jerseys and caps are being handled. Since we're using the same jersey design and colors as last year, our returning members may not need to order a new jersey or cap. No doubt our new teammates will need them. I assume the order and money must be turned in soon so everyone will have their uniform in time for the first game. Perhaps Chi Chi can shed some light on this. For those who haven't played rec league softball before, a pair of softball cleats is essential. You may think you can play in sneakers but it's extremely difficult. You'll spend a lot of time slipping and falling. Also, if your hands blister easily, a batting glove may be helpful. If you bat right-handed, you would need a glove for your left hand (at least). Some players wear batting gloves on both hands. You can find reasonably priced cleats and batting gloves at Big 5 Sporting Goods.
