We practiced at Nicholl Park #2 yesterday since that's where this week's game will be played. We didn't have a full squad but certainly enough for a good practice. Those in attendance were Carlos, Lawrence, Nancy, Mandi, James, Chiniqua, Lena, and myself.
Carlos and I were out for some early BP with Carlos's sons and Chiniqua's sons helping us out. As the rest of the team filtered in and got warmed up, we took our cuts, ran through a couple of infield drills, and shagged some flies in rightfield (the more difficult side at NP #2 because the sun is usually in one's face).
I think we're in good shape for Thursday's game with the Mod Squad. BTW, the Mod Squad were practicing nextdoor at Seawright Field. I noticed we were there thirty minutes before them and they were long gone by the time we finished.
